Located on the west edge of Chicago's Loop, Spa Space was formed from the idea that corrective, therapeutic and highly effective treatments need not be performed in a cold, medical environment. Likewise, a nurturing, warm, and inviting environment need not limit itself to offering "fluff" treatments.

Spa Space effectively combines a serious approach to skin and body care with a welcoming and luxurious environment focused on exceptional customer service. Our Management Team: Natalie Tessler

The President and founder of Spa Space is Natalie Tessler. Natalie has a BA from University of Wisconsin-Madison ('91), a law degree (JD) from American University ('94) and an LL.M. (Master's of law degree) in taxation from New York University ('95). Natalie's professional experience includes working as a tax associate at the New York firm of Battle Fowler, and as an estate and financial planning associate at the Chicago firm of Katten Muchin Zavis. In 1999, she began researching the wellness and day spa industries and developing the business concept for Spa Space. She was drawn to the industry through her genuine love for hospitality and entertaining. She takes great pleasure in interacting with the Spa Space clientele, and strives to surpass the expectations of each and every guest.

In addition to acting as a hands-on, full-time manager of Spa Space, Natalie regularly speaks to students, entrepreneurs and angel investors on the topics of capital-raising, business plan development and entrepreneurship. Our Management Team: Martin E. Tessler

Martin E. Tessler, MD (Natalie's father) is a member Spa Space's Medical Advisory Board and is active in all aspects of the Company's business related to training the esthetics staff, evaluating skin care treatments and selecting products. Dr. Tessler received his medical degree from the University of Michigan in 1967. He is a Board Certified Dermatologist and Dermatologic Surgeon. Since 1998, Dr. Tessler has been consistently named in "The Best Doctors in America," a health professional referral guide compiled by surveying the opinions of 5,000 physicians. Dr. Tessler has been a dermatologist for over 20 years. Over 12 years ago, Dr. Tessler founded VIBRADERM®, - a dermatalogic line of skin care products that is featured by Spa Space. Dr. Tessler uses his vast experience to help train skin care staff and hand-select the products and services used at Spa Space. Our Management Team: Nicole Villagomez

Nicole Villagomez is the Spa Director of Spa Space and has been with Spa Space since its inception in 2001. She has over 8 years of experience in the spa industry, with an emphasis in operations and management. Nicki has a Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising Management from the International Academy of Design and Technology. As Spa Director, Nicki is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the spa, handling client relations, and organizing private parties and corporate events. She takes a hands-on approach to management, working closely with our staff to ensure the highest levels of customer service and quality-control. You can contact Nicki at nicki@spaspace.com.

Jemma Lotzer is the Assistant Spa Director of Spa Space. She attended University of Puget Sound for Communications with an emphasis in Rhetorical Studies. Joining in April 2006, she is a new member to the Spa Space team. Jemma believes that the most rewarding part of her day at Spa Space is watching clients leave renewed, revitalized, and with an optimistic outlook. She has four years of experience in the fashion industry with Della Moda and Neiman Marcus, where she gained a solid background in public relations and management. In addition to her role at Spa Space, Jemma is an avid freelance writer for several fashion publications.
