The City of Chicago is unique in countless ways, but its special qualities are most commonly evident during the holiday season. We’d like you to make Spa Space – one of the best day spas in Chicago – one of your traditions at the holidays and throughout the year.
Based on an article on the neighborhoodloans website, here are a few of the most memorable traditions of the season:

Ice Skating at Millennium Park – a newer tradition is skating in the free ice rink in Millennium Park with the Christmas tree nearby nd the Chicago skyline as a backdrop.
Winter Wonderfest at Navy Pier – held inside the Chicago landmark (to avoid the blustery winds outside), Winter Wonderfest features rides, games and fun for all ages,
The Windows & Walnut Room at Macy’s (Marshall Field’s) – The window displays in the former Marshall field’s building tell holidy story through decorative exhibits. The best time to see them is at night. Inside the store, the Walnut Room restaurant has been serving guests since 1907 and provides a wonderful respite for a hot rink or a warm meal.
The Christkindlmarket at Daley Plaza – Inspired by a market in Germany dating back to the 1500s, the Christkindlmarket features numerous booths boasting homemade crafts, wooden clocks and other curios from local artists. The market also features authentic German food such as sausages and potato pancakes – and plenty of craft beers.
Christmas Around the World at The Museum of Science & Industry – The museum’s display shows what Christmas looks like around the world in a dazzling show of trees, lights, music and even “falling snow.”
The Chicago Trolley Holiday Lights Tour – One of the best ways to view the many light displays throughout downtown Chicago is on the Chicago Trolley Holiday Lights Tour. Climb aboard one of the trolley-inspired buses for a festive tour of holiday lighting displays. There are special stops at the Christkindlmarket and Lincoln Park Zoo.
ZooLights at Lincoln Park Zoo – Walk the zoo as you do during the rest of the year while enjoying a truly phenomenal display of holiday lights.
The Music Box Theatre’s Annual Christmas Show – The theatre shows an annual compilation of classic holiday films through Christmas Eve. The theatre experience begins with a visit from Santa and holiday caroling.
Winter Flower & Train Show at the Lincoln Park Conservatory – Stroll through the conservatory’s winter display and enjoy colorful blooming flowers in a warm habitat. Adding to the fun are model trains wending their way among the plants.
Shopping on the Magnificent Mile – the tradition of shopping on the Magnificent Mile has been passed on through generations of families. Michigan Avenue is home to countless stores and shops that provide the perfect atmosphere to get all your holiday shopping done – or just to window shop
Chi-Town Rising New Year’s Eve Celebration – Chicago has begun to throw its own New Year’s Eve party to mirror New York’s iconic Times Square celebration.
